Campaniana B 3

Description: Píxide de vernís negre amb el peu diferenciat i amb la base plana, el diàmetre de la qual és lleugerament més gran que el diàmetre de la seva boca. El seu cos és còncau que sense cap diferenciació acaba en un llavi voltat cap a l´exterior, el qual té la vora arrodonida. Les parets de la peça, tant al seu interior, com al seu exterior, estan recobertes de vernís negre. El terme píxide prové del grec i significa caixeta. A la Grècia clàssica aquests potets s´empraven com a petits joiers o bé com a receptacles de cosmètics, com pomades o maquillatges. Aquest petit objecte correspon a les produccions de ceràmiques de vernís negre conegudes com a Campaniana B, realitzades als tallers de l´Etrúria entre els segles II i I aC. Tipològicament, aquesta ceràmica pertany a la forma 3 de la tipologia establerta pel professor Nino Lambogla.
