Morter

Description: Morter redó, de coll cònic invertit, boca redona. Tres anses laterals aplicades a tot el cos. Base circular amb repeu alt. Pasta vermella. Exterior de pisa estannífera, excepte el peu, amb decoració pintada a pinzell en verd i manganès. El dibuix central està marcat en negre i dins motius en verd i negre; també decoració a la vora i a les anses. Interior esmaltat en blanc.

Reasoned classification: La cerámica verde-morada turolense presenta una carga popular más fuerte que la de la cerámica azul, lo que se acentúa casi siempre con el juego entre su superficie vidriada y las extensas zonas de la pared no útil de la vasija, dejadas sin barnizar (en alcuzas y jarras vidriadas a mandil, pies de los morteros y orzas). La mayoria de las piezas tienen una finalidad utilitaria, también las paredes son más gruesas, menos finas, con más impurezas y de un color rojo intenso. Adaptan los motivos de las series azules, principalmente las de origen oriental o chinesca (series de "hoja-ala" o "paisaje") (Alvaro Zamora, 1987)
