Ella va descriure la peça de la següent manera: «The bone handle is ornamented on all three faces with a series of concentric circles, the bone is left in its natural state and is not worked in any way except by the decoration. When found it was broken into two pieces and the tang of an iron implement could be seen in the cavity; the tang was fastened into place by a ribet through the hole seen in A and B. The hole in the upper of the handle, seen A and C, goes completely through the bone and was for the cord by which the implement could be suspended. Whith the handle was found the bone ring Nº 7».
