Ganivet

Description: Ganivet emmanegat que consta d´una fulla triangular d´angles iguals, amb cantonades arrodonides i base lleugerament còncava. De làmina fina, podria haver estat realitzats amb motlle de fundició. Conserva l´apèndix, el qual va encastat a la part distal d´un os a manera de mànec. Aquesta part és feta a partir d´un metacarp dret de bòvid (de mida petita). La seva part distal està polida per rebaixar-ne les possibles arestes resultants del tall de l´os. La fulla correspon al tipus II segons la classificació de Veny a partir de les fulles d´afeitar aparegudes a Calescoves. Un paral·lel d´aquest tipus de fulla és el corresponent a la cova VII d´aquest mateixa necròpolis. Aquest tipus d´objecte s´ha interpretat com una eina per escorxar animals o per treballar el cuir. S´ha documentat sempre en contextos funeraris, fet que en complica la interpretació. Aquest exemplar presenta la fulla triangular amb vèrtexs arrodonits i conserva el mànec, fet a partir d´un os de la cama d´una vaca, tallat i polit.
