The Museu de Menorca is located in the old part of Maó and although it does not have its own parking, there are numerous pay and display parking spaces in the surrounding areas.

Please see here different indications on how to reach the Museu depending on which form of transport you are using:

• Public transport. You can get a bus to Maó from all the villages on Menorca.

• Private car. If you choose to travel around the island in a car please bear in mind that there are few parking zones around the Museu and therefore we recommend that you leave the car in one of the city’s public pay and display car parks close to the centre. The closest car park is the one at Freginal Park. You also have the option of parking on the Harbour, where there is free parking, and then walking up into the centre of Maó.

• Cruise. If you have arrived in Maó on a cruise you will have to walk into the city centre up the picturesque stairs that you will find just on the other side of the road from where you will disembark from the boat.

In all cases you will arrive at the Museu after an approximately 5 minute walk from the city centre, following the signs indicating the way to the “Museu de Menorca”.
