Cornia Nou

Since 2007, a team of researchers affiliated with the Museu de Menorca has been coordinating tasks of archaeological excavation and adaptation of the Cornia Nou Talayotic settlement in Maó. To date, interventions have been carried out in the most highly monumental areas: the two talayots and their adjacent structures. These interventions have provided important data regarding the earliest stages of the Talayotic Culture, as well as new proposals for interpretation of the possible uses of one of its most significant structures: the talayot.
