To the Rhythm of the Mediterranean: Archaeology and Music in the Balearic Islands

In this talk we will delve into music in the Prehistory and Protohistory of Menorca. A reading of the past from a more sensory point of view, where music must have had a certain prominence, mainly in the last centuries before our era, when cultural intercavities intensified throughout the Mediterranean.

By Octavio Torres Gomáriz, PhD in Archaeology from  the University of Alicante and member of the Menorca Archaeological Project team developed in the Talayotic settlement of Torre d'en Galmés (Alaior) by Boston University.
