The Bajón: the other instrumental voice of the chapel

The exhibition Así sona Menorca shows for the first time the baixó that was used in the Cathedral. This has served as an excuse to take a historical tour of religious music since the sixteenth century in the musical chapels with the bassó as the protagonist.

We will have the privilege of enjoying a musical conference, which will combine explanations with musical interventions by a reference in the world of music, Josep Borràs Roca,  musician, bassoonist and music teacher, director of the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) between 2008 and 2018.
