Son Catlar: 100 years of archaeological excavations

On the occasion of the commemoration of the first interventions in the taula enclosure of Son Catlar, we invite you to a special visit to this Talayotic village.

We will discover some of the most outstanding archaeological finds of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries and we will meet leading figures who investigated them, such as Émile Cartailhac, Hernández Sanz, Joan Flaquer or Maria Lluïsa Serra.

The visit will be led by Maria José León, archaeologist and technician at Can Saura Museum, and Montserrat Anglada, archaeologist and technician at the Museum of Menorca.

Visit co-organized with Can Saura Museum (Ciutadella).
