Prehistoric ceramics workshop

Do you want to travel back in time and discover how the first ceramic pieces were made? We propose a practical workshop where you will experience first-hand the modeling techniques used in the prehistory of Menorca.

From the direct observation of objects exhibited in the museum's rooms, we will recreate ancient forms and processes, highlighting the know-how of prehistoric communities. You will learn to work with clay manually, without modern tools, while better understanding the materials, shapes and functions of ceramics at that time.

A participatory and creative activity, ideal for connecting with the past through your hands.

By the archaeologist and ceramist Clara Vila Tent.
