Italian Conversation: "Parliamo di arte"

At this second meeting of the EOI Maó Conversation Club, we invite you to discover a piece from the Museum with an indirect connection to Italy. April’s featured object is a Bellarmina found in the port of Maó—an item that conceals stories of witches, the Inquisition, and some fascinating Italian figures.

Our aim is to create an open space where participants can share knowledge while practising the language in a friendly and engaging environment.

This activity is aimed at Italian speakers, students of the Official School of Languages of Maó, and, more generally, anyone interested in learning Italian and discovering our heritage. It will also be an opportunity to explore the ties that connect Menorca with Italy.

The session will be led by Antonella Zorzi, with whom we will have the pleasure of uncovering the fascinating story behind this object.

Registration open from April 17
